INFORMATION FOR HALLS’ USERS
The Victoria & Albert Community Halls are busy with several bookings daily.
All groups and users have a responsibility to keep the premises in good order.
Please ensure that your room is left as you found it.

BOOKINGS |
All bookings are taken through the booking secretary, bookings@victoriaandalberthalls.co.uk An online booking form must be completed. Verbal or email enquiries without a booking form will be noted in the online diary as ‘Provisional’. Bookings are only confirmed when the customer receives a confirmation of the booking via email or other means. Bookings may be checked online at www.victoriaandalberthalls.co.uk . The website calendar will be updated as soon as possible with any changes.
Groups, their representatives or other customers, should not contact other groups or customers to cancel or amend bookings. Changes are the only valid when made by the booking secretary.

WHAT YOU HIRE |
VICTORIA HALL
Tables and chairs are stored on the stage, more chairs are available under the stage, behind the centre two panels. A “T” key is stored to the right of the door from the hall to the kitchen, care should be taken when accessing the under-stage area as the wooden covers are heavy. Replace the key immediately.
Projector Screen – located above the stage.
Kitchen – suitable for light refreshments only. Equipped with two kettles, microwave oven, and fridge.
Toilets – are through the door to the left of the kitchen, along the corridor on the right.
Lighting - the hall is equipped with LED ceiling lights switched in three banks of two, and dimmable LED wall lights.

ALBERT HALL
Tables are stored strapped to the wall to the right of the stage.
Chairs are stored on the stage.
Kitchen has a large cooker, bain marie, fridge, microwave, hot water boiler, and industrial dishwasher. Has white mugs and cutlery for over 100 settings
Toilets are situated across the landing and turning right in the foyer.

MIKE SHERIDAN ROOM
Tables are stored in the kitchen area.
Chairs regularly used chairs positioned around the room, extra chairs are stored in the kitchen.
Projector Screen wall mounted at the kitchen end of the room.
Kitchen suitable for light refreshments only. Equipped with two kettles.
Toilets are situated at the Albert hall end of the room straight ahead across the foyer.

BEATON CRAIGIE
Tables & armchairs are arranged in the room.
Kitchen suitable for light refreshments. Equipped with a domestic cooker, microwave oven, and two kettles.
Toilets - single unisex disabled, access through rear door and round to the left.

TABLE & CHAIRS SETUP |
This service is not included in the hire of the halls. If you require the tables and chairs setting out please liaise with Stan Tongue on 07468210068 or stan@tongue.me.uk. Cost is £15 per session.

AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT |
In addition to screens in the Victoria Hall and Mike Sheridan Room, access to a sound system, projector, etc. can be arranged. These are owned and operated by Ballater Films in conjunction with the Halls. Contact Ade Scripps adescripps@yahoo.co.uk for information.
